Today, his decades of senior executive management experience are focused upon executive recruiting projects and facilitating senior executive outplacement, particularly in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic region. His networking exposure is invaluable to Pennswood’s candidates seeking to secure executive positions within major corporations in the region.

In 1991, Jim Egan acquired Colonial Chemical Co., a privately-held specialty chemical manufacturer in Tabernacle, New Jersey. Under his innovative leadership Colonial grew tenfold in less than 15 years through introduction of new products and custom services. He sold his share in the business to a partner in 2006.
